Chris Woollams: Cancer researcher, Britain’s leading writer on cancer, Editor icon magazine, Founder CANCERactive.

Chris is a former Oxford University Biochemist and a founder of the Complementary and Integrative cancer charity CANCERactive.

After leaving Oxford, he spent 22 years on sabbatical in the world of advertising rising to the top at a young age, then launching his own highly successful group of communication companies.

In 2002 his daughter Catherine developed a glioma, and Chris returned to his biochemistry and biology roots.

Chris is Editor of the unique cancer magazine, icon (Integrative Cancer and Oncology News) which goes into 640 hospitals and cancer centres in the UK.

 He has written 6 books including the ‘best sellers’, The Rainbow Diet, and Everything you need to know to help you beat cancer’; he speaks all over the world on health and cancer, and has three different websites.

Chris has been acclaimed as having ‘Almost singlehandedly put Complementary and Integrative Medicine (CAM) on the map in the UK over the last 15 years,’

Chris now speaks all over the world on cancer and cancer prevention. For example, he has spoken in the USA, Australia, Germany, Russia, Israel and Japan (to 28,000 people, no less) in the past 4 years. He has toured extensively throughout the UK, speaking in hospitals and cancer clinics, to cancer care groups, at The National Brain Tumour Conference, at Primary Care 2006, at the National Cancer Prevention Conference (2005) and in schools to both children and Mums.
